BBQ Baron Bigod
22 April, 2022Scoop & Share with Friends - BBQ Baron Bigod
Looking for something different for the BBQ this upcoming long weekend? Our 1KG box of award-winning, British raw-milk Baron Bigod tastes incredible on the BBQ and is so satisfyingly simple and oozy - perfect for entertaining, with plenty to serve 8-10 people.
We set-up the firepit to BBQ the Baron Bigod over charcoal; with a good glug of honey and freshly chopped chives. Follow our recipe below for your very own molten Baron Bigod. You could try your own topping ideas - we'd love to see what you create!
Ingredients
Drizzle of honey (try Paxton & Whitfield Acacia Honey)
Fresh chives (or you could try Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley or Oregano).
Recipe
Place the cheese on a square of tin foil (large enough to fully wrap the cheese) and lightly score lines across the top of the cheese.
Drizzle the cheese with a large glug of honey.
Top with your chives, or fresh chopped herbs.
Wrap the Baron Bigod in the tin foil, as if wrapping a gift and place the foil parcel on top of your BBQ grill. Leave to bake for approximately 20-25 minutes.
If your coals have cooled from cooking other food, you can place the wrapped parcel directly into the coals to cook. Keep an eye on it - you'll be able to peel back the foil to tell when it's gooey inside and then it's ready to eat!
Enjoy with crackers, crusty bread or crudites.
