Online Cheese Tastings
03 November, 2020Our experienced cheesemongers host online regular online, artisan cheese tastings. These are often booked for online corporate experiences, hotel training sessions and for special celebrations.
How does an online cheese tasting work?
We will work with you to select a theme for your cheese tasting and book the date. We can send out the email invitations on your behalf and deliver the boxes of artisan cheese for tasting in our Paxton & Whitfield transit boxes to each of your attendees.
Your cheese boxes will be despatched to attendees on an overnight delivery service to arrive deliciously fresh and ready to taste! At the time of the event, all attendees will login to our videoconferencing service to meet their expert Paxton & Whitfield cheesemonger who will host and guide them through the cheese tasting.
Selecting your cheese tasting theme
We can tailor a theme to suit you. Perhaps you would like to experience contemporary British cheeses or let us take you on a journey of classic continental cheeses. We can sample cheese from a variety of milks, or all ewes’ milk cheese for example. The focus could be on learning about the flavour profile of the cheese, or more on the history of each cheese and the production process. We can even join with one of our prestigious wine partners to pair wines with each cheese.
A very popular theme at the moment is supporting British Cheesemakers – choosing an all-British cheese board does not mean compromising on variety or quality, and we will prove it!
Booking your online cheese tasting
Our cheese tasting service is completely bespoke to your requirements, so the pricing will be calculated based on the number of attendees and the type of cheese that you wish to taste.

Oct 2020: "We have had amazing feedback from the tasting evening you hosted last week. Everyone loved the cheeses, and really enjoyed your explanations and your obvious enthusiasm for your work. So many were pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality available on our doorsteps, I'm glad we went all British.
I wanted to thank you once again for your kind help arranging everything for me, I really appreciated it."
