Our cheese list supports indie British cheesemakers; including several smaller artisan dairies and we also stock excellent examples of Continental favourites. We offer fast delivery and a personal service.
We can deliver same-day in London and overnight to most areas of the UK.

We have developed a robust supply chain, working closely with artisan cheesemakers and building strong relationships with the producers directly. Many cheesemakers have supplied Paxton & Whitfield for generations, and this ensures we get the finest quality cheese.

We offer bespoke training and events for wholesale customers as we firmly believe that well- informed chefs and waiters will pass on their enthusiasm to the diner. You can come to a Paxton & Whitfield shop and enjoy a tasting experience like no other, we can come to you with the cheese and accompaniment variations you would like to try, or we can arrange a virtual tasting via video. These events are always informative and interactive, but most of all, fun.

Paxton & Whitfield has a full range of cheese, fine foods and associated gifting and homewares to supply your business. We can deliver to anywhere in the UK and have realistic minimum order requirements and speedy service.
In some cases, we have bought cheese from the same dairies for generations and this helps us select the finest batches for us to sell on our own counters, and yours!
From grab-and-go cheeses, to whole cheddar truckles, small batch-produced biscuits and fruit-packed chutneys, we can supply wholesale to freshen up your range.
None of our food products are available in supermarkets and much of our cheese and associated produce is sourced from the UK.

Paxton & Whitfield is recognised around the world as a purveyor of the very best of British cheese and fine foods. We have been the Royal Cheesemongers since 1850 and our branded products are designed to tell this story.

Our wholesale team will train your staff – from around the world if necessary – so that they know the fascinating story of our company and have knowledge about the products they are selling.

Frequently asked questions
We aim to be as flexible as possible with MOQs and simply charge £10 for delivery if your order is under £250. If your order is over £250, delivery is free.
Trade whole price is the price per unit if you take the pack size. Trade cut price is the price per unit if you take less than the pack size.
Payment is in advance by proforma invoice.
We can usually dispatch the following day as long as we have sufficient stock and we receive payment following issue of the Proforma. We deliver Tuesday through to Friday each week.
