Paxton & Whitfield 225th Birthday

This year marks our 225th birthday. We are incredibly proud of our heritage and are looking forward to a year of sharing the celebrations with our customers, cheesemakers, artisan bakers and everyone involved in the Paxton & Whitfield journey.

Our archives were destroyed in a fire at our Jermyn Street shop after World War II and our precious records were lost forever. We are embarking on a project to piece together our heritage to mark this milestone year.

Paxton & Whitfield are taking part in The Queen’s Green Canopy project which is a unique tree planting initiative designed to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this year. For every story, memory or photo that we publish, we will plant a tree in celebration.
